Influence of air intake position on heat feedback to the fuel surface in mechanically ventilated compartment - An experimental study

The objective of this work is to study the effects air intake position on burning behaviour liquid pool inside a compartment mechanically ventilated thanks an exhaust fan. We analysed notably key issue relevant vaporization process at fuel surface which depends external heat feedback and controls release rate. Results indicated that flux, sum radiant fluxes from hot gases internal surfaces, can have significant contribution transmitted surface.
